Yeah, I was about to play some Sonic for the first time in forever, and by accident I went to 'Delete' instead of 'OK'. So now, all my data is gone, I'll probably never compete in SA2B anymore, doubtfully any other sonic game as well. I know not many people care, just thought I'd let those competitors know they never have to worry about me sneaking up on them. I was going to get my Radical Highway back, but I guess that just happened.

Maybe you should track down a memory card that's USB-compatible, so you can back up your saves to your computer and restore them in case of a tragedy like this.

And if you're trying to break a record, what does it matter how good your save file currently is?  It's going to be beaten, right?

I'm the person directly under you in sa2 rankings overall.. and my savefile has been deleted twice in hte past couple months (once by delete probably, once from a borked memory card). I've realized that you quickly get to whatever stage you want to unlock and after a while of competing, A ranks just fill themslves up. Just start it over :D

But yeah, I know what it's like to have a save file erased.

I keep a copy of my SADX file on another memory card.

But anyway, don't let a deleted save file stop you. I wouldn't. Of course, I always use my file,
but if I didn't have one anymore, I'd just start over. Your records are still backed up on TSC,
if nowhere else, right?

Rayku, why would you let a deleted save file keep you from competing in SA2(B) again? It would be a shame if you gave up all because of something that has absolutely no impact on your gaming ability... :/
(Also, since mike isn't here right now, I will go ahead and say I CALL BS!)
...unless you secretly were playing and keeping a whole bunch of awesome stats from us and they got deleted! >_>

Well, the problem is I spent like 400 hours on that game. I wouldn't want to compete by beating bad records, it just doesn't feel the same for me. Right now, Sonic is my last priority. I only wanted my m1 record for RH back, then I was going to leave it alone again. I'm into Smash a lot right now, what with Brawl soon to come out (June, I've heard) and DDR becoming only easier as I play. Oh well, I'll see some of you guys later. Bye

This has happened to me in the past before. I thought it was awful, but it really does not take 5 minutes to sort out. Just complete the story! Took me about a day, and that wasn't anywhere near non-stop playing, so it's easy!

I know what you mean. My SA2 file was deleted but I started over. I wasn't gonna let that stop me. In fact I completed the game in less then a day so don't fret, keep playing.

Bah, one time evry single game I had on my memory card was erased! Don't let it stop you. As was said before, Radical Highway doesn't take much time ot unlock. Heck, I just beat both Hero and Dark story in 16 some hours.
